Our new-patient process is easy yet thorough to ensure all faces of your case are uniquely understood before providing a diagnosis.
Below are brief descriptions so you know what to expect each step of the way.
Upon arriving at the office for your initial exam, you’ll check-in at the front desk and complete all necessary paperwork. (To save time, download the necessary forms here and fill them out prior to your visit.) You’ll then be escorted to the private examination room where you’ll meet Dr. Hyduk for your initial exam. Parents are always welcome to accompany their children.
During the 45-minute exam, Dr. Hyduk will thoroughly examine your teeth and begin to discuss potential treatment options available to you or your child. At this time we can also provide an estimated cost for your treatment.
Your second visit to the office is reserved for the collection and analysis of complete diagnostic records, including plaster study models of your teeth, X rays, and/or digital photographs of your face and mouth. This appointment will take approximately 60 minutes. The information gathered through the review and evaluation of these records is essential to developing a high-quality, customized treatment plan, in addition to tracking the progress of treatment as the jaws and teeth begin to move under orthodontic care.
With your exam and records complete, we will meet with you to thoroughly review your case and make a recommendation for how to proceed with treatment. Our goal for this meeting is to provide you with all the information you need to confidently make a decision about how you wish to move forward with orthodontic care. At this time we will also review the various costs and payment plans for your treatment.
